Caregiving Professionals Survey

Caregiving Professionals Significantly Value High-Quality Absorbent Products

A new survey of nearly 600 caregiving professionals reveals critical insights into post-COVID revolving-door world of homecare staffing turnover.

Commissioned by Principle Business Enterprises, Inc. under its Tranquility® Brand of Incontinence Products, the study highlights the significant (yet rarely discussed) prevalence of incontinence among the client/patient population; understanding perceptions of incontinence products; and the wide-ranging impact of product selection on client/patient outcomes, as well as agency performance ratings, cap scores, productivity and marketability.

Sample findings include:

  • Client/patient quality of life – 95% of respondents agreed that incontinence product performance “heavily influences the physical and mental wellbeing of their patients.”
  • Staff satisfaction – 93% of respondents believed that higher-quality products “impact the ease and efficiency of their jobs.”

The research draws on a diverse array of nurses and aides in a home, hospice or palliative care setting who manage incontinence on a daily basis, and demonstrates the unique frustrations of these front-line professionals with data, anecdotes and testimonials. Read our press release here.
