- Determine product and size, find product dry-weight on chart
- Zero scale to recalibrate and weigh wet product
- Subtract dry weight from wet weight to calculate urine output
The weight in grams also equals the volume in milliliters (ml).
The Formula to Calculate Urine Output from a Diaper
The urine output formula is the wet weight of the diaper minus the dry weight of the diaper. The difference weight in grams is also the Volume ML/cc of urine output.
