What’s new or different?
Our Tranquility® Premium OverNight™ and DayTime™ Underwear products will now be engineered with 100% breathable materials. We have updated packaging for both lines with refreshed branding and product information.
Additionally, we are offering new size 3XL Underwear options in two protection levels:
- OverNight Underwear (item #2119) with a 34-oz capacity and 100% breathable materials
- Tranquility Essential® Underwear – Heavy (item #2609) with a 19-oz capacity and breathable sides
What does 100% breathable mean?
“Made with 100% breathable materials” means it allows moisture vapor and heat to escape while still containing fluid. Benefits include:
- Improved environment for healthy skin
- Cooler and more comfortable
- Superabsorbent core traps and contains odor
- Helps provide uninterrupted sleep
What actual changes are being made to the 100% breathable products?
Our standard film backsheet is being replaced with a breathable film. Breathable film is a barrier to liquid but allows moisture vapor to flow through.
- All other materials are the same
- There are no changes to absorption performance or leakage control
- Still has all of the features you love, including Kufguards® leg cuffs, clothlike materials and a high-capacity superabsorbent core (34 oz for OverNight, 25 oz for DayTime).
What changes are being made with the new 3XL products?
Our Tranquility® Premium OverNight™ Underwear and Tranquility Essential® Underwear – Heavy are not simply bigger versions of their 2XL-sized sister products. They’ve been redesigned with the following new features and benefits:
- Larger Waist – One of the largest pull-on disposable products in the market, comfortably fitting waist sizes 75″-95.
- Higher Rise in the Waist – Offering you an enhanced sense of coverage for peace of mind.
- 100% Breathability (OverNight Underwear 3XL only) – Moisture-proof barrier locks in fluid but allows fresh air to flow through while heat and humidity escapes. Essential Underwear 3XL features breathable sides for improved airflow.
- Longer Tear-Away Side Seams – Provide you a fuller fit and enhanced comfort. Pull off like regular underwear or tear away the side seams for easy removal.
- Longer Superabsorbent Core – Quickly wicks in moisture and holds urine from leaking out.
What is Air-Plus™ Technology?
Air-Plus Technology is 100% breathability combined with a superabsorbent core, which supports an ideal microclimate that neutralizes pH, keeps skin dry and traps odor.
